Booking Questions

How can I schedule a tour to see The Ponds at Mable Farms?

Scheduled appointments are required for individual and group tours. To schedule a tour go to our “contact us” page and fill out the online form. We do not offer tours during the day of an event.

What is included in the venue fee when I book The Ponds at Mable Farms?

Once you have decided on your date, you will have access to the property and grounds for the time that is allocated in the package you have booked. Our packages vary in price and what is included in each package. See each package for full details. We can accommodate parties of up to 150 guests, we only host one event per day.

How can I book the venue for my event?

Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. To secure a date, The Ponds at Mable Farms must receive a completed and signed contract and a $1500 non-refundable booking fee. Discussion of dates does not guarantee a reservation.

Do you offer discounts (Military, Senior, etc.)?

In order to be fair to everyone, we do not offer discounts. However, Monday–Thursday have a lower rental fee than Friday, Saturday and Sunday events, and are a great way to keep room in the budget.

Can I host a reception only at the venue? Is there a discounted rate?

We do not offer discounts for reception only events. However, we offer a variety of package options for you to choose what best fits your needs.

What is the cancellation policy? If I cancel will my deposit be refunded?

Venue booking fees and all payments made, regardless of due date, are non-transferable and non-refundable if you cancel the event. Any remaining balances are due at cancellation. We highly recommend that you purchase Wedding/Event Cancellation Insurance which would cover any unexpected change of plans.

Before Your Event Questions

Can I set up the day before my wedding or earlier than 10:00AM on the day of?

You will not be permitted to begin set-up the day before your event. All setup will be restricted to the rental period that your package offers. If extra hours are desired the morning of your event, those can be purchased at $250/hr.

Do I meet with someone prior to the event?

Two meetings will be scheduled prior to your event.

Do you offer on-site coordination? Do I need to have a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator?

Yes, the rental fee includes a one or two-hour rehearsal time depending on the package you have rented. Rehearsal times are based on venue availability. If an event is booked after you have chosen your rehearsal time, the booked event will take precedence and your rehearsal time will be rescheduled. You will be notified as soon as a conflict occurs.

Do you have areas for the bridal and grooms party to get ready?

Yes, The Ponds at Mable Farms venue fee includes the use of the Bridal suite as well as the Groom’s suite on the day of your wedding. The suites can be accessed as early as 9:00AM on the day of your event depending on the package you have rented.

Are we responsible for tables, chairs, linens, silverware or plates?

The Ponds at Mable Farms offers several package options that are primarily either a DIY package or a Full Décor Package. All packages include tables and chairs and setup with white tablecloths and choice of satin runners. Several of our Full Décor packages include silverware and plates. Please check with each individual package for what is offered.

Can I hire my own vendors (caterer, coordinator, DJ, etc.), or must I select from a preferred vendor list? If I can bring my own, do you have a list of recommended vendors?

The Ponds at Mable Farms provides a preferred vendor list, but allows the use of outside vendors. It is your special day which is why we want to provide you with the vendors of your choice. All vendors are required to provide The Ponds at Mable Farms a Certificate of Liability Insurance.

Can I take bridal portraits or engagement portraits at the venue?

Yes, you are given a 1-2 hour portrait session time which is included in your booking depending on the package you have rented. All portrait sessions must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

During Your Event Questions

Do you require event insurance?

We require that each of our couples have event insurance for $1,000,000 liability, and if you are serving alcohol, you are required to get the additional alcohol insurance. It is a great idea to add on cancellation insurance to cover you in case anything happens prior to your event. This can be purchased through and typically cost around $175.00.

Does The Ponds at Mable Farms allow pets on the premises?

Your pets are allowed to be a part of your outdoor ceremony, but are not permitted inside the main building and must be caged after your ceremony.

Are there extras charges for cleanup?

Set up and take down of tables/chairs are included in the venue rental fee. Depending on the package you have rented will depend on your cleanup fee.

What is your alcohol policy?

The Ponds at Mable Farms allows beer and wine only. All alcohol events require a licensed bartender and security officer(s). A separate “Alcohol Fee” will be added to your venue rental fee for all alcohol events. This fee covers bartender, security officer(s) and host liquor liability insurance.
